How to Track Takas.lk Order?

To Track Takas.lk Order, follow the below steps,
Steps :
Step-1 : Go to the link https://takas.lk/tracking/
Step-2 : Enter Your Order Number
Step-3 : Enter Your Email Address
Step-4 : Click on “Submit” Button.

How To Buy Online on Takas.lk?

Step 1: Register your account on Takas.lk
Step 2: Fill out the registration form.
Step 3: Search for the product that you want to buy.
Step 4 (optional): Select options. Select any options available for the product (color, warranty type, etc.)
Step 5: Buy Now! Click the ‘Buy Now’ button. If you want to purchase more products repeat Steps 1, 2 &3 again. If you have selected all the required products continue to Step 6.
Step 6: View Your Cart. Click ‘View Your Cart’ to view your product selection & make any changes to it. You can also click ‘My Cart’ at any time to view your selection (top right of the page).
Step 7 (optional): Apply Coupon. If you have a voucher code please enter it at this point &then click ‘Apply Coupon’. If you are happy with your selection continue to Step 8.
Step 8: Click ‘Go to Payment’
Step 9: Fill out the Billing Information. If you selected the ‘ship to this address’ option proceed to Step 10.
Step 10: Fill out the Shipping Information.
Step 11: Select Shipping Method.
Step 12: Select your Payment Option.
If you selected the Cash on Delivery option, you are required to enter your National Identity Card (NIC) number. If you are paying by credit card proceed to Step 13. If you are paying via Bank Transfer proceed to Step 14.

Step 13
: Payment Option: Credit Card.
You will be taken to a secure payment processing page where you will be asked to enter your card details. After entering your details, you may be redirected again to a Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode page for further verification. Once this is completed successfully your order is complete. You will receive an email with your receipt & order confirmation.

Step 14
: Payment Option: Bank Transfer.
You will need to deposit the full amount into one of our bank accounts and send us a scanned copy or photo of the deposit slip. Once we receive the payment we will process the order.
Step 15: Place Order.
At Stage 6 of the Checkout process you need to agree to the Terms & Conditions and click ‘Place Order’

Step 16
: You are done.
** Takas.lk aims to deliver all items within 3 working days from the order being placed (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, the day order is placed is not counted).
** Within Colombo 1–15, delivery will happen on the next day in most cases, but bear in mind that it may take longer. Deliveries outside of Colombo will be dispatched via courier service.
** Out of Colombo deliveries will be handed over to a courier service (Aramex) within 3 working days.
** Once handed over, you will receive an email with a tracking number that you can use to track your order delivery status. Out of Colombo deliveries will happen within 3 working days from order date in most instances but may take up to 5 days.

Delivery charges are calculated based on product weight & distance. Delivery charges can be calculated on each product page or your Shopping Cart before placing the order.
Delivery Time :
** Deliveries within Colombo will be handed over to delivery within 3 working days.
** Deliveries outside Colombo may take longer than 3 working days depending on the distance.
** Customers will be notified at the earliest possible time if there any unavoidable delays with their order.

** We accept all online activated VISA, MasterCard & American Express debit/credit cards.
** VISA & MasterCard payments secured by Mastercard in conjunction with Commercial Bank. American Express payments secured by Nations Trust Bank.
Cash on Delivery (CoD) :
Cash on Delivery is available for orders below Rs. 10,000/- only.
Bank Deposits :
Customers who don’t have credit cards & want to order products above the CoD limit can deposit the payment to the following bank accounts

Easy Payment Schemes/Instalments :
We offer Interst Payment Schemes for Sampath Bank & Commercial Bank Credit Card Holders, this process is online and automated. You just need to select the length of the plan during checkout. Please note that your credit balance & credit limit both need to be higher than the full value of the order. A surcharge may be added for this facility.

Other Credit Cards
: Make a purchase and then call your bank and ask them to convert the payment to an installment scheme. Please call your bank before you make a purchase to make they will allow you to convert it.

FAQ on Takas.lk

How long does delivery take?
Standard delivery – Usually takes 3-5 working days (weekdays excluding public holidays).
48 hour delivery – Available for selected products. These will be delivered within 2 working days (weekdays excluding public holidays).

I want to change the address for my order. Is it possible?

** The delivery address can be changed at any time before the order is handed over to the delivery agent. Please contact our Customer Service Hotline to request the change: 0117782527
** Please note that an additional cost may be incurred if delivery zone is different.
** If your order has been placed using a credit card, your address change request may be denied due to security reasons.

How can I cancel my order?

** An order can be cancelled instantly from this tracking page before it is collected from the supplier. The cancel button will be enabled only during this period.
** Any cancellation requests after this period has passed should be sent to our Customer Service Hotline and will be handled on a case by case basis.

I used my order number to check the order status but the information is not clear to me.
Processing : Your order has been received and we have requested the supplier to deliver it to our Operations Center.
Preparing Shipment : Your order has reached our Operations Center and is being packed to be handed over to the Delivery Agent.
Shipped : Your order has been collected by the Delivery Agent and is on its way to you.
